Project brief
Having worked with Wickborne Homes for well over 10 years, we were delighted to uphold our long-standing relationship by producing the bespoke staircases for their new, exclusive collection of 2 & 3 bedroom family homes.
In keeping with the area’s distinctive, traditional character, this development was designed with a ‘cottage’ style in mind.
Wickborne wanted a charming set of unique carpeted stairs that would blend seamlessly with the surrounding interior of each home – one of which was the director’s!
Our solution
Like most projects, the development was working to a tight schedule. To help keep it on track and get the houses to market as soon as possible, we needed to complete a quick turnaround.
Our initial site surveys removed all responsibility for measurements from Wickborne and enabled us to create completely bespoke designs that complemented each of the 5 beautifully individual homes. Having agreed final touches, our workshop team produced four softwood carpeted stairs and one set in full oak with glass balustrade.
Each was delivered on time, in full and fitted first time with ease! As a result, the project remained on schedule and allowed Wickborne to continue without delay.
