Founded in 1989, we’re a family-run business – spanning three generations – that focuses on traditional values and aim for nothing but exceptional service.

In the past 35 years, we have successfully established a strong reputation within the building industry as the South’s leading timber staircase manufacturer.

We pride ourselves on our elite industry knowledge and experienced joinery, creating a premium product every time.

Our history

1989

Having trained in boat building, making things in wood was always a passion. Eric Cowley founded Multi-Turn in 1989 wood turning products such as table legs, columns, newel posts and spindles.

1992

Stairs were added to our product offering

1993

Nigel Cowley joined the team

1997

Graham Cowley joined the team

1998

Paul Cowley joined the team

2001

Moved to our countryside HQ in Twyford, Winchester

2014

Rupert Cowley joined the team

2015

Our first CNC machine was installed

2016

Angus and Elvin Cowley joined the team

2017

Doubled the size of our factory with an extension

2018

Launched our sustainability initiative with new solar panels & recycling system

2019

Launched our Fit First Time commitment
