Project brief
Working on a project in South East London, Brown Building Ltd enlisted the help of Multi-Turn to design and produce a brand new set of stairs for their client.
The client wanted to modernise their hallway by replacing the existing set of carpeted stairs that had become dated and worn.
They asked Brown Building Ltd to create a design that would brighten the space and reflect the interior style of the rest of the home.
Our solution
The team set to work on creating a new design in collaboration with Brown Building Ltd to help bring the client’s vision to life. A completely bespoke timber design was agreed to fit in with the classic modern style of the hallway – one that would impress visitors for years to come!
Our Projects team visited the client’s home to carry out a site survey and gather measurements to ensure the new stairs would comply with building regulations and fit first time.
The stairs were manufactured in our Hampshire workshop before being dry assembled to simplify fitting for the Brown Building team on site.
Featuring beautifully natural oak treads and handrails, contrasted against painted spindles and tulip cut strings, these stairs came out exactly as the client imagined. They are delighted with the finishing touches, especially the handrail’s wreathed volute and the traditional spindle design; which all contribute to a look and feel of contemporary elegance.
